Composition tips

Organization:

1^st  paragraph: introduction. Provide objective information about what you are talking about.

Eg. If you are writing a film review, mention: the name of the film, who directed it, who stared in it, what it is about, how the film was received by critic and audience, etc.

2^nd paragraph: describe the situation and the first points for discussion.

3^rd paragraph : describe a second situation and other (or opposite) points for discussion.

4^th paragraph: conclusion: make clear what your position is and use all the previous arguments to support your view.

Vocabulary

Try to replace the simple words by more sophisticated vocab. Show you have a good range of it, that you read enough and are informed about the subjects. Use as many adverbs as possible. Use as many cohesive devices as possible too, this is a way to have a coherent and clear text.
